뮤비와 가사로 보아 어머니와의 행복했던 기억을 못 잊어 약에 취해 환각을 본다는 이야기를 하고 있는 것 같다.

가사를 곱씹어보기 전엔 그저 감미로운 얼터너티브 락 음악이라고 생각했지만, 가사를 해석하고 뮤비를 다시 보니 말할 수 없이 슬픈 곡이었는 것을 알게 되었다.

자살 유가족의 40%정도가 자살을 진지하게 고민한다고 한다. 그만큼 사랑하는 사람의 자살이나 죽음은 남겨진 사람들에게 큰 고통을 안겨줄 때가 있는 것 같다.

여기서의 two worlds : 사랑했던 사람과 행복했던 세계, 사랑했던 사람이 없는 세계 Break the Spell : 사랑했던 사람이 죽어서 볼 수 없는 상황이 '저주'이고, 약에 취해 환각을 봐서 그 저주를 풀겠다는 뜻 마찬가지로, divine(분수령)이란 단어도 약에 취해 산 사람의 세계와 죽은 사람의 세계의 경계에 가겠다는 의미로 해석될 수 있다 [본문으로]
